Easter is my favorite, second to Christmas. I have written about my Easter nostalgia before, frilly dresses with ruffled socks, ceremonial speeches, music, church, the very reason for celebration and its ever-deepening meaningfulness, all at the onset of spring. It’s a beautiful time. Last Easter, COVID stopped us from physically going to church. I still bought an Easter dress because, well, why break tradition?
This year, our Pastor announced that the church would physically re-open for Easter, though, at a limited capacity. Either way, I had already secured Easter look 2021. Which, unlike tradition, is not a dress. Because when I saw this double-breasted, placid green suit on my timeline, I thought, perfect. Add in the bling of accessories from Harper Ray, my new comfy, metallic snake print, Rockport pumps, and an old ivory BCBG clutch, all set.
What are you wearing to celebrate Easter this year?
