New year, same crazy, busy Mondays. But first prayer. At my church, January has typically always been deemed a month of consecration, a time of committed praying and fasting. That generally also means some sort of committed hiatus from any distracting extracurricular activities and social media scrolling. So I’ll be pausing for the cause. Frankly, there are some things I need God to come through with the come-through on, so I look forward to this time of refocusing on Him. But before my brief interlude, there are two things I want to impress upon you–houndstooth and leopard print. Until today, I’ve never mixed the two. But in doing so, I’m quite in love and thought somebody out there should know.
My belted Trina Trunk houndstooth pants are a Nordstrom Rack find. The leopard print pumps are much older but still look great. If you need a comfortable, lasting heel, Rockport’s Total Motion line is one of my faves for work. And my purse was a lucky Ann Taylor find on sale during Christmas.
So as I begin this new year, and as I approach my four-year blogiversary and push as much devotion as I can into consecration, please know, I’ll be doing so very stylishly in two of my favorite prints. xo
