So it’s November which means we are down to the final (and my personal favorite) stretch of the year! My weekend was super simple which was nice for a change. Friday after work I went to HomeGoods and…. need I say more? I headed home with a few bags of holiday decor!
Saturday I slept in for the first time in a very long time and then Michigan won against Penn State so yeah, it was a good day.
Sunday the clock went back an hour which was, even if just for psychological effect, extra nice.
I came across something today that was somewhat befitting for my current heart space… We are sometimes let down by the most trusted persons and loved by the most unexpected ones. Some people make us cry for things that we haven’t done, while others ignore all of our faults just to see our smile. Some leave us when we need them the most, while some stick to us even when we ask them to leave. This world is a mixture of such people. We just need to know which hand to shake and which hand to hold! The art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on.
My goal for the week: live, love, laugh, and let go.
How was your weekend? What are some of your plans/goals this week?
Have a good one! Xo
