Last week was intense. I’ll spare you the details. But when the world is on your shoulder, gotta straighten up your act and boogie down. So Friday night I left my nine to five up on the shelf and just enjoyed myself at the Kevin Hart Irresponsible Tour at Little Caesars Arena in the D. I laughed. In fact, I cried tears of laughter multiple times. Brian and I headed back to my mom’s house after the show, sometime around 10:30 p.m. to pick up Ash but ended up hanging there and eating sandwiches, grapes, and leftover cheesecake from my dad’s birthday. Because there is nothing like your mom making you a late night snack at the end of a long week and fun date night. Thanks mommy! We got home sometime around 1:30 in the morning. Ash didn’t miss a moment. He didn’t close his eyes until we did.
Saturday morning was a gloomy and rainy forecast but after such a good night, there was something pleasant and light about the day that I really appreciated. We slept in and then I hung around the house with my guys for the most part. It was homecoming! We watched football and danced around in our PJ’s every time Michigan scored a touchdown. Ash thought this was hilarious. He was oblivious to his mommy’s secret agenda of turning his blood blue *eye winkie emoji*. Michigan won! Go Blue!
My goal this week: keep laughing and dancing. Because a merry heart doeth good like a medicine.
How was your weekend? What are some of your plans/goals this week?
Have a good one! Xo
