This week is inherently lovely because my birthday is Thursday! When I went to get my nails done last week, Cheryl surprised me with a bag of gourmet doughnuts. On the bag, she wrote, “Happy Birthday! The world became a better place the day you were born,” and signed it with a red heart. If you have been following my blog, you know that Cheryl has been the one keeping my nails perfectly polished for something over ten years. She gets me. A white bag full of sugar, glaze, sprinkles, and astronomical calories—one of the best birthday gifts ever! Thanks again Cheryl, I love you!
