Here we are, down to the final two months of 2020.
On Saturday, I gave a nod to Shuri. Ash decided to go with Batman. We had a one house stop for “trick or treating,” and Granny did not disappoint. I was able to load up on lots of fried catfish, homemade french fries, and sweet potato pie, and Ash got a basket full of goodies to keep him busy well into the next day.
I plan to start decking my halls soon because it’s never too early for Christmas decorations. Love these giant mercury glass ornaments from Balsam Hill.
Quote of the month:
We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

We are on the final 24-hour countdown to Election day. I voted a couple of weeks ago at my clerks’ office. Find your voting or drop off location. And find out what will be on your ballot!
Together, you can redeem the soul of our nation.
When historians pick up their pens to write the story of the 21st century, let them say that it was your generation who laid down the heavy burdens of hate at last and that peace finally triumphed over violence, aggression and war. So I say to you, walk with the wind, brothers and sisters, and let the spirit of peace and the power of everlasting love be your guide.
-John Lewis
One of my favorite IG accounts to follow—Pete Souza, the former chief official White House photographer for President Obama. Have you seen his documentary film, ‘The Way I See it’? If you haven’t, you should. I cried. I also ordered his book.
I ordered this necklace last month too, and I love it!
My favorite masks to wear (they are my favorite for Ash too).
Happy 44th Wedding Anniversary to my parents this month!
Rest in Heaven to a legend, Bishop Rance Allen.
