I have had my hair in a ponytail all week. A center part brushed down into a low pony with the weak hold of Carol’s Daughter pracaxi nectar gel on my ‘baby hair.’ It’s a knock off of a version of the refined ponytail I rocked most of last spring and summer, which was complete with perfectly curled extensions that grazed my mid-back. I’m pretty sure that was the first time I had ever gotten my hair “fixed” in a ponytail, and I’m also pretty sure it was thanks to Tika Sumpter. Several months before this, I had seen her on IG in glorious perfection, standing in full-length profile wearing a long burgundyish red printed dress, oval hoop earrings, and a sleek, gorgeous, bubble ponytail. And I am still obsessing over it: that princess Jasmine bubble ponytail and a few others.
The princess Jasmine bubble ponytail
You see why this puts hearts in my eyes.
The excessively wrapped ponytail
Did you know you could excessively wrap your pony like this? Cause I didn’t.
The magical long braided ponytail
I don’t know if anyone can wear a long braided pony like Queen Bey. I mean really, she has that look on lock. Still, it’s on my to-do.
What about you? How are you wearing your ponytail these days?
