Every so often I come across something that gives me pure eye candy happiness and I become obsessed with it. Sometimes it is something outside of my current budget and so I am just left to close my eyes and wish for it. For the past several (yes several) months my obsessions have been a beautiful Byron Lars (Georgette) hi low blouse and Mignonne Gavigan (Madeline) beaded statement earrings.
I can’t remember how I came across these gorgeous earrings. I just know that when I first saw them I added them to my “I want” list. They come in different colors, and they also come in a “mini” size. Either way they are absolutely beautiful and I am in love with the ethereal vibe. Of course, now, I am a regular visitor to mignonnegavigan.com. You can also find them at stores like Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman (currently sold out in white).
Why haven’t I purchased them yet? They are $225 (the mini’s are $125), so I am waiting on a fabulous event invite before I totally commit. Until then, I will settle on the heart flutters I get just from browsing them.
And then there is the blouse. I purchased my first Byron Lars dress back in February and instantly became a fan. You can check some pics out on my Instagram. Since that time I have been stalking byronlarsbeautymark.com, which is how I came across this beautiful blouse. I absolutely love it. It is so charming, feminine, and forgiving in all the right places. I can imagine it with a million different pairs of pants and even some skirts. The featured color, Persimmon, would look great with my skin tone. Why haven’t I already added it to my collection? It’s $498 (clutches imaginary pearls).
