This year I took on the task of doing my family’s Christmas photos. I have a camera, but I’m no professional photographer. I took as many one-on-one classes as possible with my good friend, photographer Daniel Lippitt, before he relocated out of state so that I could become more self-sufficient with my blogging. And in doing so, I realized even more how much skill and talent goes into the art of capturing moments beautifully.
I can’t take all of the credit, though. It was Ash standing up in the window seal and instinctively stretching his arms out that led to the composition of these photos. His creativity is so lovely to watch. He is my favorite person to shoot, my muse, if you will.
I’m thankful that we were able to capture the moment in the first few frames, lest I go mad. Unrelated, I hardly ever wear red, but I love this red suit and plan to have it in heavy rotation until further notice.
Anyway, wishing you a merry Christmas eve.
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
Love,
Brian, Amyre, and Ash
