Sweater weather has been here. Except for a cardigan or knitted duster or two, I used to never really like wearing sweaters and so I never bought many of them. My winter style was mostly built on layering.
Over the years though my taste and style has evolved, and I’ve come across a few sweaters that have broken down my knitted wall. Now, nothing makes me happier than throwing on a cute, cozy, sweater on a chilly day.
This season I have mostly been in love with the distressed sweaters and the sweaters with cutouts and open backs. But I’ll be honest, I haven’t quite found “the one” that I love on me. I have ordered 2 so far and both were send backs. The RtA Langley cutout shoulder sweater I ordered from Saks back in October (now apparently sold out) was cute but the shoulder action was not as pronounced as I would have liked.
The other one was from One Teaspoon (Winona keyhole roll neck sweater). Though I thought the concept was fabulous, it just didn’t look good on me. I wasn’t in love with how the sweater felt on and the turtleneck portion was a little overwhelming, almost uncomfortable. So, I’ve still been on a search.
In the midst of my search I’ve come across 5 other fabulous sweaters I thought I would share! Just in case you are looking for “the one” too!
Ted Baker has so many fabulous sweaters on their site right now it’s not even fair! But this one is one of the ones I love the most (if you are looking for a dressier sweater)!
- KAARINA pleated neck collar sweater (with a mock shirt underneath)
I’ve never bought anything from COS. But the ribbed band that drapes across the back of this A-line sweater is everything! I like the color too, so vintage-esque!
2. COS A-Line wool-cotton jumper
And then there is this sweater by LPA. I have been wanting a polka-dotted sweater since the start of sweater season. This pom-pom accented sweater caught my eye. So fun! Add it to my Christmas wish list.
3. Teza sweater
Of course I was going to have a duster on the list. I bought this cardigan back in October from Revolve. Disclaimer: it makes me look a lot “chunkier” than I am, but I still love it. It really is all the way fabulous. It also comes in a dark green (moss).
My final sweaters crave has been the leopard printed ones. Here’s one from Anthropologie that I thought was gorg!
What sweaters have caught your eye this season?!
Happy sweater weather!
